Whenever we experience stress, whether it is a single traumatic event, or being in a stressful environment day after day, our body holds the tension deep in our muscles. Even when the event or situation has passed, and we no longer have it at the front of our mind, we will still be holding onto the tension in our bodies… and over time, if left unattended to, it can lead to further physical and emotional difficulties.
Muscle tension in surface muscles can be relieved by a good massage, or exercise. However, tension held in our deeper core muscle structure cannot. That tension needs to be released from the inside out.

Claire is passionate about TRE, and uses it regularly herself to release the stress and tension from working with challenging children. One of the things that she loves the most is that it doesn’t require talking. It is not like other therapy where you go back over what has happened. With TRE, you will learn to facilitate your body to naturally release everyday tension or past trauma without speaking at all if that’s what you prefer.
